Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup raw almonds
  • 1 medium apple quartered and cored
  • 1 tbsp. flaxseeds
  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 1/2 tbsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. kosher or sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Add water, almonds and apple to WildSide+ jar and secure lid. Select "Whole Juice" cycle or blend on a Medium to Medium-High speed for 50-60 seconds.
  2. Add remaining ingredients to the jar and secure lid. Select "Batters" cycle or blend on a Medium to Medium-Low speed for 30 seconds. 
  3. Allow batter to rest 5 minutes.
  4. Heat griddle or other pan over medium to medium high heat and grease.
  5. Pour approximately ¼ cup batter onto heated pan and cook approximately 1 minute or until bubbles break the surface of the pancake and the underside is golden brown.
  6. Flip and cook for approximately 30 seconds. Repeat with remaining batter.
  7. Serve immediately or keep warm in the oven at 200˚F loosely wrapped in foil.

Notes

To make this recipe in the FourSide jar, decrease measurements by one third.

    Tried these this morning. So very good!! I love cinnamon so I upped it to a teaspoon. My 5 year old granddaughter ate two! So easy to make!! I will definitely be doing these again!

    Followed recipe to a tee, but mine turned out a bit bitter. Any idea why?

    Could be because of old baking powder or rancid almonds.

    These pancakes were OK if you are vegan, but I have had much better healthy pancakes. I was looking for something to use my almond meal left over from making almond milk and I thought the almond chocolate chip cookies were a much better use for them.
