- Try substituting some of the frozen banana with another frozen fruit, such as strawberries, pineapple, or mango.
Notes
Mix-ins to add in before blending is complete:
Spices: ground cinnamon, nutmeg, or allspice
Extracts: vanilla, almond, or peppermint
Nut butters: almond, peanut, or hazelnut
Chocolate: chips, cocoa powder, cacao powder, cacao nibs, or your favorite chocolate sauce/syrup
I made this tonight; my husband and I both liked it. I made mine with caramel and chocolate chip; the hubby had his with cherries.
Yes I agree!! I got a Blendtec after my Vitamix got a crack in the jar and Bed Bath and Beyond doesn’t carry Vitamix in store anymore but man do I miss the plunger and it made ice-cream way way better. If Blendtec had a plunger then I might like it better but I feel like Vitamix is a stronger motor.
Maybe you can use a wooden spoon? Just be sure and turn it off first!
Seems a lot of these recipes instruct me to select "Speed Up" to a certain speed. I have the 570 model and I have no such button, all I have is low, medium, and high. How do I determine what speed is what?
you may need to ad something like milk or almond milk to help it thats what i did at least
