We’re so happy you tried it! One of the things we encourage others to do with our recipes is to make them their own. Everyone’s taste is different so take a recipe and tweak it to fit your taste buds. For example, you could add coconut flakes to this recipe to give it more of a coconut flavor. :) Happy blending!
Thanks so much for the reply, we will try that the next time. Didn’t wanna change anything with the recipe, because I’m just trying to make sure I keep things as healthy as possible…as I’m still learning about being and eating healthy
Good for you! Another thing you can try without adding any calories or sugar is coconut extract.
Ok will do
Not specific to this smoothie but I just recently purchased my blendtec 625, the smoothies i make crush any added ice into total obliteration. My husband prefers the slushy yet crunchiness of his smoothies gained by adding ice. I have tried to lessen the time from the 40 second standardized smoothie button to a pulsed 20 seconds but then I run the risk of my ingredients not blending. Any recommendation on how to get a blended smoothie with crunchy ice? should i add ice after fact?
