just got my 475. How do you get the thick consistency of a smoothie. My wife wants it so a straw stands up. If I use frozen fruit I should eliminate ice. If I defrost frozen fruit over night, do vou then add ice? One last thing, the recipes are based on one serving? Do I just double to get two servings?
If you look under "NUTRITIONAL INFORMATION" above it will give you the number of servings. This recipes, for example, has (3) servings of 8 oz. To get the desired consistency, add more frozen (whether it’s fruit or ice) until it’s the thickness you want.
that’s right!
My 8 year old son with a little of my help just made this one. He said it tasted good, but smelled bad…lol. I felt the taste was good as well, but was disappointed that it didn’t taste more like coconut.
