Used my twister jar, frozen mango and frozen pineapple and the blender had a tough time at f first. Kept stopping. My husband thought I was going to break the Blendtec, but I persisted, turning it off and on, stirring the fruit and I added a bit of skimmed milk to make it easier. The results were delicious, smooth and creamy with the exception of some errant fruit fiber that didn’t break down. But I was extremely pleased with the sherbet. Will try pina colada next.
Try adding 1/3 cup of liquid (such as orange juice or almond milk). The recipe calls for the orange and the pineapple to be the liquid but if either one of those are not tree ripe, you may need to add liquid. Happy blending!
