Is there a problem with using the ordinary jar? Probably not.

i don’t have a wildside jar, but i understand you can use any jar for these recipes, you just need to stop and scrape down the sides once or twice. i make lots of ‘twister’ recipes in the regular jars. i do love this blender, but have no interest in buying another costly jar! good luck!

I have the twister jar, I use it for my butters. I use the large jar for everything else including mayo and other cream sauces. I don’t thing that you would have to have the twister jar for this recipe. I really love my Blendtec and I use it everyday. My son has one too, he doesn’t have the twister jar.

Hello… I also purchased the Designer Series Wildside, and was shocked to see in your supplied recipe book, how many recipes call for the Fourside Jar or the Twister Jar…. I thought the Wildside Jar would do it all. This is the main reason I purchased the Wildside…..

It does seem like a lot of tools…before purchasing mine, I watched the videos and read the info. about the different jars. It does explain why there is a need for each one. They are all great at doing their assigned tasks. I use all three of mine, and I am very satisfied. Just give them a try—you’ll see just how great they are! :-) At least, I do not have to keep replacing them as I did w/all of the previous ones—purchase quality = less in our landfills, too!
