I just received the regular sized Twister Jar (looks like perfect size for me!) The recipe book says 1.5 cups of raw almonds on Speed 7. I haven’t tried it yet, but this was a major reason for forking over the $$ for a proper machine. Glad to see this tip about spinning the shaft. I do recall seeing something about it in instructions, but didn’t pay close attention.

Do I need to register my new Twister Jar if I bought it separately from blender? Or just keep receipt?

Yes the regular twister has both a regular gripper lid and a twister lid! Any nut butter will be hot initially from the fiction necessary to break the nuts down. Just transfer to a container with good lid and refrigerate and it will cool and thicken a bit.

I just add this with raw almonds. After reading the comments, I was sure to add extra melted coconut oil, about 5 tbsps total, and stop and scrape several times. It turned out really well. Oh, I don’t have the twister jar and managed it perfectly in the 4 side jar. Love it.

No need to register your jar. :)
