I just followed this recipe, well….kinda….used asparagus (on sale at HEB), Saltgrass Seasoning (a favorite "go to"), a pinch of cayenne, and used combo of jack and cheddar, all other ingredients per recipe. Turned out yummy!

Hey everyone, finally got my 570 and its great. We did the soup and like some of the other reviews its a little blend but when you add a pinch of alt and pepper its heat. Make sure to add the broccoli flowers at the end to give it some thickness otherwise its like water. We added cauliflower, garlic and green onions along with some chicken, wow, try it you will love it.

This page has the exact same nutritional information that is in the book that comes with the BT; however, the recipe above calls for half of the salt that is in the book. Small oversight, but thought you should know. I have not yet made a soup with BT, and will be using the book version tonight. Wish me luck.

I used raw broccoli and jack cheese because I didn’t have cheddar :) I omitted salt since bouillon is already salty and added in spinach, butter, pepper, cumin and a splash of cream. Delicious! You guys really need a new recipe source. Most of your recipes need to be tweaked before they are palatable.

Sounded to me like it might be a little bland so I substituted a 10 oz Cream of Chicken instead of the veg. broth, I will be doing this again!
