Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond pulp
  • 1/4 cup cooked garbanzo beans
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp. tahini
  • 1 clove garlic quartered
  • 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cumin

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to Twister jar in order listed and place Twister lid on jar.
  2. Hold Twister lid and with other hand press speed up to "Speed 1".
  3. Turn Twister lid counterclockwise during blending. Stop at 20 seconds.

Note: Yields 1½ cups.

    I just paid retail for a blendtec 570 with four-side jar for $300. It irks me that I now need to purchase an $80 twister jar for many of these recipes. The in-store demonstrator said you don’t need a tamper like Vitamix, however you say below you will need to "stop and scrape the sides." What a racket. At least Ninja includes all the jars you could possibly need.
