Wait, are you using raw or roasted almonds?

    Just raw almonds.

You may need to roast the raw almonds in a pan or a toaster/normal oven to get the almond butter result. I’ve only used roasted and had success everytime, but I’ve seen people have fails with raw. Just a little help :)

I should have added, I also don’t add any extra oil..just almonds, extra salt, and cinnamon, and done :)

I first made almond butter in the twister jar with raw almonds. The jar got very hot and started smoking. I tossed contents in the trash. I then followed Blendtec’s directions and used roasted almonds and got the most amazing and delicious almond butter I’ve ever tasted. And in less than a minute. I added a tiny bit of salt after it was creamy but just to taste. No oil needed. Yum!!!
