I used xylitol and it was delicious

Hi, what is half & half? – is it what we call low fat milk (or light milk) in Australia? Just bought the 570…also any ideas for getting a creamy taste without high fat ingredients?

Hi Louise, half & half is half whole milk, half cream. It typically has a butterfat content of 10.5%-18%. You can use equal parts of cream and whole milk to substitute it. For a dairy-free option, try this recipe: http://www.blendtec.com/rec…

We followed the recipe to the letter and the consistency was like a thick smoothie. Not even close to ice cream. Delicious but certainly not ice cream. If it requires being put in the freezer, why is that not in the instructions?

    Thoughts?
