I second the fat sentiment. This drink is worse for you than a high fat-low sugar drink. When are people going to understand that it’s sugar that packs the pounds on you, not fats??
Also, I eat gluten free and I don’t buy those junk products. If I want gluten free baked goods, I make them myself and much healthier. I spend tremendously less on groceries than I used to when I ate grain products. You get more nutrition+calories for your money if you just stick to meat+veggies+fruits+some dairy. I’m also a lot healthier – I’ve lost a lot of weight naturally and feel much better. Most people are sensitive to gluten to some degree, but most not enough to cause them adverse health problems. The only reason this is, is because humans have only been eating grains for a short period of their existence and not everyone has fully adapted to eating them. I can eat grains with not much side effects except gaining weight, so I don’t totally avoid them. It’s just better to make my own gluten free versions of grains. I advise that nobody buys the premade processed stuff with so many ingredients. There are very few acceptable gluten-free knockoff products.

Agree…and then all that fat skimmed off to make low fat milk etc. went into making more and more cheese whose consumption in the US has gone up astonomically since the whole low-fat craze started.

Agree with all above, Unfortunately a company like blendtec has to walk back and forth with all types of recipes and hopefully not upset anyone.
One thing stays the same – Blendtec blender is the most important tool in my kitchen and a great investment for anyone who likes to eat at home

@Michael Binder: You wrote in part "… completely unhealthy gluten free processed junk food."

The adjective "healthy" means "enjoying good health." It applies only to living organisms.

The adjective meaning "tending to promote good health" is "healthful."

The phrase would have been correct had you written "… completely unhealthful gluten free processed junk food."

Thanks. English is not my first language, so I sometimes miss subtleties like this one. I’ll try to remember.
