Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup nutritional yeast
  • 1/3 cup sea salt
  • 1/4 cup dried mushrooms
  • 1/4 cup dried mixed vegetables
  • 1 1/2 tbsp. onion powder
  • 1 tbsp. garlic powder
  • 2 tsp. dried parsley
  • 1 tsp. celery seed
  • 1 tsp. dried dill
  • 1 tsp. dried lemon zest
  • 1 tsp. dried thyme
  • 1 tsp. dried marjoram

Instructions

  1. Add ingredients to FourSide jar in order listed and secure lid. Press "Speed Up" to Speed 4, and run full cycle.
  2. Store in closed container in cool, dry place.

Note: Use 1 teaspoon broth powder and 1 cup water to make 1 cup broth.

    I love that this could be made low-salt. This makes a very tasty cup of broth….and great to add flavor to soup.

    I began drying all the vegetables in an old recipe from my grandmother, then combining them (potatoes, summer squash, onions, celery, carrots, cabbage . . . all the things from the garden) plus one apple. I grind them in an old hand meat grinder because I like that size pieces. Use canned tomatoes for a base and season to taste. Incredibly good and good for you. Also found that handfuls of the mix of vegetables can be added to other recipes.
