Are the calories per serving or the total number of calories? Thanks

Hi Vanessa, the calories are per serving. Happy blending!

I always put the flax seeds into the dry BlendTech jar first and pulse them for about 15 seconds to pulverize them. Then I add the remaining smoothie ingredients and make my smoothie. This way I get the full benefit of fresh flax seeds and the ground meal doesn’t have a chance to go rancid.

If I use this recipe in my Wildside Jar, will the 2 T flaxseed be ground enough for digestion? I am unable to use the bag of flax meal quick enough and would like to move to using whole flax seed, but wonder if it really grinds up enough with a whirl in the smoothy recipe?

Yes, it should! Another thing you could do is blend up a small batch of flaxseed and keep it sealed in the freezer so you have some flax meal on hand! Hope this helps. :)
