Can this be made easily in the wildside jar? would doubling it be best in order to succeed?

I just made this in my Wildside Jar. Tried the mini twister first but that was going to spill out everywhere.
So, Wildside it is. Used almond milk with a bit of agave, lemon and frozen strawberries. YUMMMM! Going to get some popsicle molds and put this with other fruit into those to make delicious pops!

I have the wildside jar and can’t get it to blend this consistency. It won’t blend anything thicker than a standard smoothie. Is this normal? Disappointed I can’t get it to make the "ice cream" like in the demonstrations.

"Ice cream" is definitely more of a soft serve consistency in the Blendtec. The more frozen ingredients you use, the thicker it is. This particular recipe calls for the Twister jar which is made specifically for thicker recipes. In the WildSide+ jar, you can add more frozen ingredients to get it thicker but you may have to stop during blending and scrape the blend back down to the blade.

A bit disappointed—I got a Designer 725 just last week with more wattage and hp than the other Blendtec at-home models. This was only the second time I used it and it kept cavitating during the blend and telling me to add more liquid. After watching a "Will It Blend" video where the blender demolished a Apple iWatch, I expected my 725 would have no problems. Great soft serve once I finally got it blended.
