Oh no! What kind of almonds did you use?

I used raw almonds that I had dry roasted in the oven for 10 minutes at 350. I eventually just added a little oil and it finally seemed to emulsify after I let it cool down for about 45 minutes. Is it normal for it to have to sit and cool before running again?

If the machine gets over-heated then it will take some time to cool before the blender can be used again. It should have worked with no problems, though. Did you follow the recipe exactly? And did you turn the Twister jar lid counter-clockwise as you were blending?

The machine did not get overheated. The almonds did! They were very hot. I waited for them to cool before blending again. And yes, I did twist the lid counter-clockwise while blending. It seems like maybe the recipe should be adjusted. So many people online have had the same issue.

Thanks, Georgia. We’ll do some testing. :)
