Eeeeek! I just tried this recipe and it burned a hole in my Blendtec and bananas flew all over the place! ☹️. Apparently you MUST let the bananas thaw some before making the ice cream!

I have a Blendtec but find a food processor works best for frozen fruit ice creams, especially if you don’t have the twister jar; which I do not. I’ve made cherry chocolate ice cream with …

1/2 cup vanilla soy, hemp or almond milk
1 tablespoon natural non-alkalized cocoa powder
6 dates, pitted or one banana
1 1/2 cups frozen dark sweet cherries

Process until creamy smooth, works great with other frozen fruit

    Hi! :)
Vitamix don’t have a stronger motor. Both are the best, the difference is jar design. Anyways, I make this recipe on my food processor ;) very nice. (I’m still learning english).

That is exactly what happened to my Wildside jar today. Had two frozen bananas and a little coconut milk inside. Blew out the side.
