There’s a reason for the phrase “an apple a day keeps the doctor away.” Apples have a long list of benefits—from preventing heart, stomach, and liver disorders to reducing risk of cancer and rheumatism. They can even help keep your skin and teeth healthy.
Apples are extremely versatile, and can be easily transformed into delicious and healthy applesauce. An American favorite, applesauce is an easy, wholesome snack for the whole family—and it’s one healthy snack that kids will gladly eat.
If you’ve just gone apple-picking or have a bag of apples in your kitchen that’s about to go bad, try making your own applesauce at home—you might be surprised how well it turns out! And with your Blendtec blender, you can whip it up in seconds.
The great thing about making applesauce in a Blendtec is that there’s no boiling involved. All you have to do is add apples, water, other fruits, and some lemon juice into your Blendtec—the powerful motor and strong dull blades will take care of the rest.
