    Hi Liz,
It means to save and use that amount of liquid.

It’s 4 slices of sun-dried tomatoes, not a 15oz can, as the recipe says. Must be an error.

Hi, Linda! Great point – the recipe in our Fresh Blends book does call for 4 slices of sun-dried tomatoes packed in oil, however, you can also use a can of sun-dried tomatoes. Either will work!

It’s delicious. I used 8.5 oz of chickpeas as that was the weight without the water, and then I used the same amount of sun dried tomatoes. Next time I would leave the salt out as there is no need for that. I certainly will make it again as it is scrumpuous.

Somebody pointed out 2 years ago that the recipe has a serious error and it’s still not fixed, what gives? The sun dried tomato portion is wrong, wrong, wrong — they’ve copied it from the chickpea line and didn’t fill in the proper measurements.
