Has anyone tried making a larger batch of this applesauce for freezing or canning? Thank you.
If don’t have a sauce button, what speed should you use and for how long?
Blend on Medium Low (speed 3 or 4) for 30 seconds. :)
what does the banana have to do with applesauce. Is there a reason we need to use it for this recipe
The banana is used to sweeten it, give it a little texture and helps with blending but you can omit it. Applesauce you buy at the store has been cooked down so much that the sweetness comes out but fresh apples aren’t as sweet. You can add another sweetener if it isn’t sweet enough for you!
