Ingredients

  • 1 stalk celery chopped
  • 1 tbsp. chicken or vegetable bouillon
  • 3 cups cooked brown rice
  • 2 cups cooked soybeans
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 large green pepper chopped
  • 1 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1 cup mushrooms chopped
  • 1 large onion chopped
  • 1 tsp. sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp. sesame seeds
  • 3 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp. water
  • 1/2 cup wheat berries or dried beans
  • 1 cup cooked chickpeas

Instructions

  1. Add wheat berries or dried beans to Kitchen Mill, and grind into flour; set aside.
  2. Heat water in saucepan, add vegetable bouillon, and mix well. Add onion, green pepper, celery, and mushrooms to saucepan, and cook for 34 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, add soybeans and chickpeas to WildSide+ jar. Secure lid and press "Pulse" 68 times or until mixture is desired texture.
  4. Add bean mixture, cooked vegetables, rice, sesame seeds, soy sauce, ginger, oil, eggs, and wheat or bean flour to large mixing bowl. Mix until ingredients are incorporated.
  5. Scoop ¼ cup portions into hot skillet coated with cooking spray. Brown burgers on both sides.
