Instructions
- Add ingredients to jar in order listed. Secure lid and select "Ice Cream" or blend on a Low speed for 15 seconds, then blend on Medium to Medium-High speed for 30 seconds.
- If ice cream is not as smooth as desired, stir contents of jar, secure lid, and press "Pulse" for 3–5 seconds or until smooth.
Notes:
The ice cream will be soft. If you'd like it harder, freeze it in a bowl or Tupperware until desired consistency is reached.
If your Blendtec doesn’t feature an Ice Cream/Frozen Yogurt button, blend on a Low speed for 15 seconds, then blend on a Medium High speed for 30 seconds. If more blending is required, press pulse several times until desired texture is achieved.
Skip it and the sugar. NO need to substitute just add more frozen berries to get desired consistency.
If it’s runny toss in a few more frozen strawberries.
Made as directed. Needed to put in freezer to set-up. Then quite enjoyable. Tastes like a frozen yogurt and a delightfully less sweet version of Strawberry Ice Cream.
I tried this recipe for the first time . Also first time I use the ice cream function on my total blentec. I doubled all ingredients since i have the wildside jar. It did come out very soft like slushy. I put it in the freezer. After 3 hours the consistency is ice scream like. But next morning it turn into a block of ice. Can’t be scooped out. How can I make it stay the right consistency? I like to make it in bulk they can last a while.
insted of lemon juice i used some other kind of juice cause i didnt ave lemon juice
