Oatmeal Cookie Protein Shake

Now that school is starting up and the summer nights are quickly ending we are gearing up for a fun fall at our house! Our family has many fall traditions but one of our favorite's is spending time together in the kitchen cooking. Trying new recipes is a must, and I personally like to add a little healthy kick to any recipe we try out.
We were so lucky to be able to give our new Blendtec a spin! We love the beautiful white stainless steel design and we used the WildSide+ jar and gathered our ingredients and got to work! I asked the kids for some input on what they wanted to make, and no surprise - they wanted cookies. As always I am trying to find a way to make them eat a little healthier so we settled on a cookie flavored shake, and oatmeal cookies are the favorite with my kids! So we decided to try an Oatmeal Cookie Protein Shake.
Its packed full of flavor and helps your chocolate cravings in the best way! The oatmeal gives it a thick frothy consistency that tastes so great! It's a great refreshing oatmeal cookie flavored protein shake that the kids love just as much as mom!
Oatmeal Cookie Protein Shake
Ingredients
2 cups almond milk
3 frozen bananas
½ cup oats
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
¼ tsp cinnamon
Directions
- Blend all of the ingredients together in your Blendtec WildSide+ jar and enjoy!
- This recipe makes four 8 oz servings.
We love cooking as a family, and experimenting with recipes. Blendtec always gives us a great excuse to try new recipes together as a family and we can’t wait to create more family memories with ours!
