  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 chunks red onion approximately ¼ c
  • 4 limes peeled and halved
  • 1/3 cup canola oil
  • 1 tbsp. honey
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro leaves
  • 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. dried oregano

    Why isn’t some of the lime zest added in? Seems like a whole lot of flavour is being thrown out rather than incorporated into the marinade!
