  2. Heat berry puree, sweetener, and vanilla in a saucepan over medium heat until bubbly. Remove from heat and slowly stir in gelatin until no clumps are visible.
  3. Pour into a 9x13 pan lined with parchment paper and refrigerate for at least one hour.
  4. Once snacks have set, remove from pan and cut into pieces.

Notes

For a vegetarian version, use agar powder in place of gelatin.

Have you made them yet…and if so, how did they turn out?

I used frozen fruit that I thawed for a couple hours first and it worked fine. I also checked the conversion on plain gelatin packets (since I bought that kind) and it required 6 Knox brand rather than 5 to equal 3 Tbsp. so I included the extra one, and the snacks are the perfect consistency.

I would suggest keeping them in the fridge due to the fruit being blended. For longer storage you could store them in the freezer and take them out to thaw before eating them. I am going to leave out the fruit juice and use just water, too much sugar with the juice, fruit and honey!

    I’m using frozen thawed fruit.

Defrosted fruit worked best. I must say though I won’t be making this recipe again. Way too much gelatine. Tasted like a gelatine hockey puck.
