Chicken Nugget Dog Treats Recipe

A simple, bite-size chicken treat for your dog.

Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. chicken breasts cubed
- 3/4 cup water
- 2 1/4 cups wheat germ

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- In pot, boil chicken in water; reserve cooking water.
- Add cooked chicken and cooking water to FourSide jar. Secure lid and select "Batter."
- Add wheat germ and secure lid. Press "Pulse" until ingredients are incorporated.
- Roll dough into 1-inch balls, and place on baking sheet.
- Use back of spoon dipped in water to slightly flatten balls.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes.
Note: Makes 30 treats.

Chill the dough, then roll in plastic wrap into a log shape and slice.
The smaller in diameter and longer in length and thinner the slices, the smaller the nugget. You can make 1/4 inch for toy size dogs, just adjust the cooking time. I also bake on parchment paper. Less burning and no washing pans!
Just be careful on your calorie count when giving them to your dogs. 90 calories for 2 treats is a lot!
These were easy to make. Rolling them into a log and chilling before baking worked great. Our Schipperke loves them.
