Black Bean Hummus Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp. olive oil
- 2 tbsp. fresh lime juice
- 1 tbsp. tahini
- 1 clove garlic quartered
- 15 oz. can black beans drained, retaining 1 tbsp. of liquid
- 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1/4 tsp. smoked paprika

Instructions
- Add ingredients to Twister jar in order listed and place Twister lid on jar. Hold Twister lid, and with other hand select "Speed 1" and blend for 5-10 seconds, or until desired texture is reached. Turn Twister lid counter-clockwise during blending.
- To make in FourSide or WildSide+ jar, double the ingredients and stop blending to scrape the sides of the jar back down to the blade.
Can this be made without the tahini? Should I delete the 1 tbsp. of liquid from the black beans. Allergy to sesame!
Do you cook the beans? The recipe does not say so; I suppose that it’s a raw hummus..Right?
Great recipe that is delicious if your a hummus fan! So many uses, and a great healthy replacement for refried beans. Use on quesadillas, burritos, 7 layer dip or a Mexican pizza base. I like a extra tbsp of lime juice along with fresh cilantro in mine. I make double batches in my wildside jar, and use my own tahini which I also made in my wildside. This is a must try…delicious!
