Mother's Day Recipe

Mother's Day Party Fruit Dip

Well it's almost Mother's day! This is my first year to be able to finally celebrate as a mother myself. Last year, my son (and first child) was born shortly after mother's day, and so this year I have the opportunity to celebrate being a mom. The past year has been such a blessing for my husband and I. It's been a blast watching our little guy grow up; this year has gone by too fast and I can't believe how big he is! It's fun to see all the changes that happen: sitting up by himself, crawling, his first step.

Being a mom is definitely no easy thing, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. Our little guy has the cutest personality and he so mellow and easy-going. It will be fun to celebrate with him this Sunday. I also get to celebrate the awesomeness of my own mother. She, and my dad, raised six kids and worked full-time. She worked at the high school that we went to, and it was actually really fun to have her there.

My mom is such a great woman and I hope that she has a fantastic Mother's day. So, for those of you celebrating with a special mother figure in your life, here is a quick and easy recipe that she will certainly enjoy.

A Mother's Day Recipe - Fruit Dip
