Blendtec's First-Ever Blendtrek and Facebook Live "Will it Blend?"

We are excited to announce some very big events for Blendtec. Both events will happen tomorrow, July 22, and we couldn't be more excited. Endless planning, prep, and passion has been put into this and we are thrilled to invite you to attend.

So enough stalling, here's the BIG news!

BLENDTREK

On Friday, July 22, 2016 Blendtec will celebrate Utah’s Days of ‘47 by holding Blendtrek - a fun scavenger hunt with Blendtec blenders at the finish line for the winning teams. Blendtrek will start at 10:00am MT at This is the Place Heritage Park in Salt Lake City. Teams will consist of two people from different households - one as the driver and one as the navigator. Clues will be given at checkpoints which will lead you to the next checkpoint. The first team to arrive at the last checkpoint will each receive a Designer 725 and Twister jar ($809.90 retail value). The second team of two will each receive a Designer 625 ($499.95 retail value) and the third team to arrive will each receive a Total Blender Classic ($399.95 retail value).  

 

LIVE WILL IT BLEND? & POKEMON GO TOURNAMENT

On Friday, July 22, 2016 at 3:00pm MT, Blendtec will host the first-ever Facebook live Will It Blend? as Tom Dickson tests the strength of the Poké Ball on the Blendtec Facebook page via Facebook Live. A Pokémon GO tournament will also take place at Blendtec Headquarters (1206 S 1680 W, Orem, UT 84058) from 2:30-3:30pm MT that same day. Pokémon GO players will compete at the Pokémon GO Gym located at the giant blender at the entrance of Blendtec's building. Everyone who participates will receive a Blendtec power bank* so they can play Pokémon GO without their phone dying. Some lucky winners will receive prizes including a Blendtec blender. *While supplies last
