Homemade Tahini
Similar in texture to nut butter, tahini is the delicious result of grinding sesame seeds into a crumbly paste and finally into a smooth spread.

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 3 cups sesame seeds hulled and toasted*

Instructions
- Add oil and sesame seeds to WildSide+ or FourSide jar and secure lid.
- Blend on a Low speed for 50 seconds.
- Stop blending, use spatula to move contents toward center of jar and secure lid.
- Blend on a Medium speed for 50 seconds.
- Store in airtight container in refrigerator for 4–6 weeks.
*To toast hulled sesame seeds: Preheat oven to 350°F. Spread sesame seeds on a jelly roll pan. Toast seeds for 10–12 minutes. To ensure even toasting, stir the sesame seeds after 5–6 minutes in the oven.
Notes
To make in Twister jar, decrease ingredients by half (4 tbsp olive oil, 1.5 cups sesame seeds), blend on a Low speed for 50 seconds and then a Medium speed for 50 seconds. Turn Twister lid counter-clockwise while blending.
To make in Mini Twister jar, decrease ingredients by 1/4 (2 tbsp olive oil, 3/4 cup sesame seeds), blend on a Low speed for 50 seconds and then a Medium speed for 50 seconds. Turn Mini Twister lid counter-clockwise while blending.
