Ingredients

  • 3 medium pears peeled, quartered & cored
  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp. granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. Add ingredients to WildSide+, FourSide or Twister jar and secure lid. 
  2. Blend on "Smoothie" cycle or blend on a medium speed for 50-60 seconds.
  3. Pour into 13x15-inch pan covered in parchment paper. 
  4. Dehydrate in oven for 8-12 hours in 200 degrees or in a food dehydrator until the top is no longer sticky.

    When I’ve made recipes that call for sugar,I’ll use coconut sugar. Also, when I make my fruit leathers I just add unsweetened apple sauce. Gives good texture and sweetens at the same time. My family devours whatever I make!

    Absolutely! You can use other sweeteners if desired (banana, dates, maple syrup, honey, etc.) or just leave it out altogether.

    I have weened myself from many sugar involvements, as there is sugar and High fructose Corn Syrup in absolutely everything including hot dogs. i would like to make this with the pear calling the shots. What do you think? Same procedure for other Fruit Leathers?
