Notes
If you use agave instead of honey, you may need to increase amount to create the right texture.
To make in WildSide+ or FourSide jar, increase ingredients by 1.5 (see below) and follow instructions above. You may need to stop blending and scrape sides down if cavitation occurs.
1 ½ cup oats
3 tbsp ground flax seed
¾ cup peanut butter
1 ½ tsp vanilla
3 tbsp honey
½ cup chocolate chips
Yummy! I tripled the recipe and added unsalted peanuts, slivered almonds, coconut flakes and pumpkin seeds instead of the chocolate chips (approximately 1 1/3 cups in total). I will be making these again (and often)!!
I tried this recipe using my WildSide+. No luck.
Let me know if anyone has a successful experience that tastes good.
I used the 1.5 multiple and used 4.5 tbsp of Agave in place of the Honey. Had to add some water to get it to mix.
Kind of had to take it out of the blender and finish mixing in the chocolate chips by hand because the blendtec was having a really hard time mixing this dense batter.
I shaped the balls and actually baked a few down into some cookies at 350° for 25 mins.
Taste is okay I guess.
Looking forward to hearing some success stories and suggestions.
Cheers!
Mike
Here’s what they came out like.
I like that you did cookies. Don’t like that they weren’t delicious
It shouldn’t be substituted completely but you can substitute part of the oats with protein powder. Happy blending!
