Great recipe! Tastes just like I remember. Didn’t have all the ingredients on hand so some substitutes: almond milk, only 1 orange but large, 8 oz orange juice.
Good but a little sweet or maybe my tastes have changed since I was a kid :) Will try 1 tbsp honey next time, 6 oz OJ and 2 medium oranges.
We loved this and nobody guessed about the squash (which is great since our garden is mass producing them right now)! My boys: 6, 11, 14, and 43 asked for more :-)
I love when my boy of 43 asks for more, too!
Do you peel oranges? Why so much honey? 2 TBSP ….thats a lot. Anyone tweek this recipe?
Yes, please do peel the oranges. You can decrease the amount of honey for a less-sweet version. Or, add a chunk of banana to replace some of the sweetness.
