Question: Does the beet get peeled as well as trimmed and halved? :)
Couldn’t wait to try it so I did not peel the beet. It was just fine but I think I may have used too large a beet because that seems to be the strongest taste I detect. I also used one cup fresh pineapple with one cup frozen because my frozen was much sweeter than the fresh and I just used a bit less ice cubes. Very refreshing and I love it! :)
Made enough to almost fill my 32 ounce bottle and my 8 oz glass.
Hi Cheryl, we’re so glad you tried it and shared these pictures with us! You were right in not peeling the beet – just make sure any dirt is rinsed off. :) So happy you loved it! Keep sharing your experiences with us. Happy blending!
The beet does not need to be peeled; just make sure any dirt is rinsed off. :)
I’m going to try this. I like that it’s a beautiful Scarlett color and lower in sugars. Just getting over an illness I spent three dollars on a little bottle of beet/veggie juice to perk me up. (Temporary insanity) Never again!! Thanks for the inspiration to get well BlendTec.
