Notes
To make in FourSide or WildSide+ jar, use 3-4 tbsp. of a liquid sweetener in place of dates (like honey, agave, maple syrup) or date paste, put all ingredient into jar and blend until combined. Start on a low speed and gradually increase to a high speed. You may need to stop blending and scrape the ingredients back down to the blade.
You can omit brown sugar and powdered sugar and use other sweeteners in their place. You may want to experiment until you get the right taste (about 4 tbsp. of honey/agave and 1/2 tsp. stevia work great!).
Add your favorite nut or sprinkle with coconut flakes for an extra special treat!
Yes, you can!
what do you mean about turning the lid during blending?
This recipe is made using our Twister jar which has a Patented Twister lid with tines so, when you spin the lid, the tines force the ingredients on the side of the jar back down to the blade. You can learn more about the Twister jar here: http://www.blendtec.com/jar…
My blender doesn’t have speed settings like 3 and 7. What are the settings that I use for a Classic 570 (Costco) machine?
Use "Lo" for speeds 1-3, "Med" for speeds 4-6 and "Hi" for speeds 7-10. Happy blending!
