The Blendtec Innovation Center is a collection of themed environments which reflect the settings where Blendtec equipment is used commercially. By testing current and new equipment in these real world settings engineers and sales managers are able to understand how the equipment interacts with those who will be operating it and how the surroundings influence placement and space management. ''Having such a true to life environment for product testing and demonstration is a great addition to our ability to understand our customers and provide the equipment solutions which meet their needs,'' says George Wright, Director of Sales and Marketing. In addition to testing the equipment, the Blendtec Innovation Center provides a place where customers can meet with Blendtec personnel to try new equipment and see how it might fit in their operating environments. In designing the Innovation Center, four unique environments were blended into one homogenous location but each environment still retains its own distinct characteristics and operational constraints. The four environments are; bar and nightclub, coffee shop, convenience store, and ice cream/smoothie shop.
