I began drying all the vegetables in an old recipe from my grandmother, then combining them (potatoes, summer squash, onions, celery, carrots, cabbage . . . all the things from the garden) plus one apple. I grind them in an old hand meat grinder because I like that size pieces. Use canned tomatoes for a base and season to taste. Incredibly good and good for you. Also found that handfuls of the mix of vegetables can be added to other recipes.
Is there a substitute for the nutritional yeast (I am to avoid anything related to mold or yeast – food sensitivity)?
Hi Donna, you can try ground beans or bean flour. Or you can omit it all together.
Also any substitute for the mushrooms (also mold / yeast issue)?
Has anyone made string bean powder? I am wondering if slightly large s
Tringy beans can be used?
